Stacy’s Dr. Berg Shake Mix Substitute

I have followed a low carb and Keto diet for several years now and I do follow Dr. Berg. I really like the way he explains how the Keto diet works and how the body heals itself. For awhile I was buying Dr. Berg’s Chocolate Shake Mix, but it was expensive and when I began traveling in my RV, it was difficult for me to receive packages. The ingredient list was fairly simple and I decided to try experimenting with making my own substitute shake mix. This is what I now use everyday and I think it tastes just as good, if not better than Dr. Berg’s Chocolate Shake Mix.

Stacy’s Dr. Berg Chocolate Shake Mix Substitute

Place the following ingredients in a blender and blend well on high speed for 30 or more seconds.

1 1/4 cups unsweetened almond milk (or substitute)

1 cup frozen organic chopped spinach (or kale)

1/4 cup frozen wild blueberries

2 scoops of LIVfit Superfood (Superfood Blend or Antioxidant Fruit & Fiber) (I use one scoop of each)

1 Tbsp organic cacao powder

1 1/2 tsp Pyure Stevia and Erythritol Blend

1 serving of MCT oil, liquid or powdered

The Superfood Blends contain pea protein powder which helps to thicken the shake, as well as other nutrients from fruits and vegetables.
